Wake Up With Your Make Up!
Have You Ever Considered the Benefits of Semi Permanent Make Up?
Have you ever wanted to be able to just get up and go without the fuss of makeup? Tattooed eyeliner is your first step to cutting your time in half in the morning or any time of the day when you need to just get up and go. Whether you are going to the gym, swimming, hiking or sweating your eyeliner off, semi-permanent eyeliner will save you time, energy and money. And, most importantly, it will get your day off to a natural-looking, fresh face with no effort at all.
What is Semi-Permanent Eyeliner and How is It Different from Tattoos?
Semi permanent eyeliner consists of cosmetic inks and is professionally applied with a needle that implants the ink into the skin. This type of ink is called pigment and is deposited into the first layers of the skin. On the contrary, body tattoos, that we are most familiar with, are permanent and use body inks. The ink used for body tattoos are formulated differently and goes much deeper causing a permanent tattoo.
How Long Will Semi Permanent Eyeliner Last?
Typically, semi permanent eyeliner will last one to three years with touch ups annually and as needed to maintain vibrant color. Environmental factors, such as sun exposure, are a key factor in how long your eyeliner will last. To get the best results and longevity out of your eyeliner, you should always use sunscreen and wear a hat while in the sun.
Is Semi Permanent Eyeliner Painful?
Due to each person’s level of pain tolerance, it is impossible to say whether you will feel pain. I have been told that it tickles and you feel more like a vibration. We will numb the area topically for 20-30 minutes prior to your procedure and it will last throughout the procedure as well.
Will Semi Permanent Eyeliner Look Natural?
Yes, it will look natural if done professionally. We will match your eyeliner to what you are used to wearing so it looks like your everyday makeup. We will also take into account your facial features and eye shape to provide the most flattering eyeliner look for you. You can go thick or add a lash enhancement which gives the illusion of a fuller lash line. When the eye is shut there is minimal trace of eyeliner.
You Should Not Get Semi Permanent Eyeliner if You Meet the Following:
- You take Coumadin or blood thinners
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You wear contacts or lash extensions
- You have autoimmune disorders that are not managed or stable
